Maybe I just should give up-HELP

Want double din hd radio. Started with Pioneer 7200 hd and had to return it because the screen was impossibly small. Reception of hd stations good.

Traded for Jensen vm 9324 which has a readable screen but the reception is poor. HD stations cut in and out. On rainy day I get no hd at all! I think something is wrong here. I hope this problem can be solved.

Is it possible that the reception on these radios can be this divergent? Is there a brand out there which is know for good reception? My budget is $350. Does Pioneer or Alpine enter here or is quality measured by price alone? Thanks in advance

pioneer and alpine make a better unit than jensen. try and sell or swap it for one of them but with a screen u can read. seems like an easy fix. u liked the pioneer u had just couldnt read it
