FYI, i got to try out the prototype napalm 10". Not a bad little driver at all. Didn't meter as loud as the type-r, but man did it take my power like a champ. Full 4-5 minutes of solid bass tracks off a clamped 1500 RMS and didn't get close to stinky.

They will be VERY nice daily driver subs.

These are pics of the MD Audio guys / Napalm subs from a MECA event in Elizabethtown Kentucky that I competed in today.... The event these pics are from is the Deathmatch where you run your setup at full tilt for 2 minutes and take a rolling total average for your score.

Are Many of you guys THIS FLlCKIN' FAT? The modern profile of an SPL competitor!

And these guys try to label it a sport....heeeh.

Its hard to read their score there on the screen, but the numbers will be out on the MECA site in a few days so judge for yourself what real world use is doing.

If you are trying to make a great product dont you want to aim higher than the next guy, not try to be as good. You didnt see RE going OUR MT's ARE 9500 LOUD!@!, BUY OUR SHIT...

I dont see that company lasting, hell I dont see any company lasting that associates themselves with tcab.

Actually the napalms tested louder than the MT's in quite a few tests, and they actually do not associate themselves with TCAB, Mark did test one of them out and made a video //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif . Mass Destruction is actually associated with Second Skin, Tsunami, and Excessive Amperage as a few companies. Def never seen or heard them say or post "ours are louder, buy our shit", comparison is just a way of putting the sub's performance into perspective.

A whole lot of subs will be louder than the MT's in most applications. MT's are meant to be fed with A LOT of power when they really shine. Application is the key. To claim that it's louder than an MT isn't proper. It's more efficient than the MT at that power: YES.
