lol, that's exactly what it is. This week i've tried to spend as much time truckin' and as little time cleaning as possible.
That's an interesting place to run the power wires.
yeah....this thing is cramped as all heck and to get wires out the stock location would've been a giant, giant pain. Possibly less of a pain than drilling holes in the car, tho, now that I think about it...
Once you get deadening and wires run, that sort of stuff, the actual installation goes very fast and is a lot more enjoyable than laying down deadener and drilling holes for things.
Not gonna lie, I very much look forward to this phase //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I'm not looking forward to making my box, it's going to be a pain since it has to fit under my seat, and I have to build it to maximize space, which means it will be very tight.
You gonna use glass at all or wood for everything?¿
Well in general I was busy tonite, mostly scrubbing the carpets....other than that worked on power wires. I'm finally running all my juice thru 0 gauge of some sort or other.
waterproof fuse near alt. It's possible for the wires to break and short both the alt and the battery so i'm fusing in both locations. 1x250 amp near alt and 2x 200 amp near battery.
this is how my power wires get into the engine bay - they come up from under the car. I eventually plan to anchor them to a bolt sticking out that apparently serves no purpose (about an inch out of the the picture, sadly) but I need to make a trip to the hardware store and find some stuff to make that happen.
hopefully, this pathetic excuse for a powerplant (well, it's 105 amps, so it could be worse i guess) will get replaced with a 220 amp alt.
This weekend I start glassing, regardless of what's going on in the interior. I'm fairly certain I have all the wires run and laid out at this point, the only thing holding me back is cutting off the metal supports in front of the trunk as I would prefer to do that with the interior out.
