first off i drive a 2002 accord. 0 gauge welding cable and a big c&d battery in the back. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif:crying:
i have four of these subs pb10-4
http://www.credencespeakers.com/Clearance_Corner.htm
my box is 25" deep x 27" wide x 14.75" tall
i have one 6" aero port that is flared on both ends. the pipe in between the ends is 6" long. the port fires into the cabin/car and subs are m0unted on top of the box. the port is smack in the middle of the back board (27" X 14.75")
i also have a nine.4 that is working great!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
well my subs are single 4ohm. i wired them up to have a final load of 4ohms (checked with DMM).
next i ran the positive speaker wire to my FIRST/MASTER nine.1....then the negative speaker wire to my SECOND/SLAVE nine.1.
so each amp is seeing 2ohms. o out put should be roughly 900--1000 per amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
now when i play young jeezy welcome back it sound like complete crap. almost as if they were being under powered. if i turn it up like i use to it sounds crappy and the subs almost bottom out AND is NOWHERE NEAR AS LOUD AS IT WAS BEFORE I ADDED THE SECOND AMP. why is this? what have i done wrong???? when i ran them off a single nine.1 wired to 1ohm they slammed, now its crap...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif:crying:
both amps are set right as far as slave and master.
