Its just like vonage only a tad different but you still need a high speed internet connection to use it.

way better than vonage i have 3 for my shop //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif better than local phone service too. we leave ours hooked to a cheap laptop with air cards as internet backup in case the dsl goes out. very clean and clear you can't even tell it isnt a landline. you just hook any phone to it or use a decent headset w/o a phone.

we have had ours for over a year now.

Tired of paying any phone bill, as we honestly don't use it that much. Have the land line for the girls when they are home because our cells......any cell we have had don't work for shit in the apartment. Something with the roof I think. Reception sucks arse, so needed a land line. Been thinking about Majic Jack, but wifes aunt has it and they had to pay over 100 dollars in start up fees and then they got a crazy price for long distance calling and canceled after fighting with thier non-existent customer service.

Thinking Vonage would be the way to go.

I have triple pack with Time Warner right now, which is cable, digital phone and turbo internet.

Pay 166 a month after all said and done! I hate the cable companies, such a rip off! Was paying 110 for 2 years, which was fine, then went to 180, had to call and fight and they took it down to 140 and now it went back up again because they said my year savings went away, so now 166. I am like, dumbasses, I have had you for 4 years now without my special savings going away, so what the hell are you talking about? Lost that one, as they said I could switch anytime I want, lol!

I like having to pay only one bill, but thinking about getting vonage for 20 bucks a month and then Dish for 34 a month and internet, maybe verizon? I dont know, just trying to get back to 100 a month.

My girls cousin uses MagicJack, and she loves it. She had Comcast phone, and said the clarity is just as good as Comcasts'.

But, I just got rid of my landline and strictly use my cell. Much cheaper, and no extra crap to deal with/pay for.

someone screwed your aunt bro! there is no setup fees or anything else its 60$ plus shipping for unlimited calling for 5 yrs. per unit.

there is only 1 place you should buy it from: http://www.magicjack.com

the rest are scams. she must have gotten it somewhere else. I paid 59.95 plus 9.95 shipping per unit for a 5 yr deal. We got 1 then 3 months later cancelled all my business lines and got 2 more.

I rather not rely on something that needs, broadband internet, a computer, electricity and some rando get rich quick scheme company.

I'll be keeping my cell phone and landline with a reputable telco.

Ive been using it for a year and the only complaint i have is that you cant close the program from running on your computer. As far as the quality I don't have any complaint, but I also dont use it that much.
