i think most ppl are talking about the fact that peal and seal has almost no sound deadening qualities compared to something like dynamat ex.god dont get me started on peel n seal....i used it in my marquis for 4 years and had no problems at all. had it on both front doors and the entire trunk. i hate when everyone diss's it. if you clean the surface and apply it correctly you wont have any problems. i currently have it in my mark viii and still have no prob's.
the only thing i suggest is dont apply it when its cold out as it loses its stickyness. Lastly, people says it smells, it does for maybe 2-3days. and its faint at best.
I am going to home depot now to see what they have...i think most ppl are talking about the fact that peal and seal has almost no sound deadening qualities compared to something like dynamat ex.
