AMmlstrass, did I get you right that you put in on your truck hood over the engine? Can you please confirm what stuff you use? I used Home Depot's Quick Roof to do the inside of my 98 Honda CR-V and it work great. I was just wondering how it would work on the hood. I'm kind of leery putting it over a hot engine and it falling off on top of it. Please advise. Thanks.

I made the mistake of asphalt deadener in the front doors of my vehicle. I used Second Skin for the rest of the vehicle. There IS a HUGE difference. I had to use 3 layers of the asphalt crap, to come close to the damping qualities of a single layer of SS Damplifier Pro. I had both in the vehicle at the same time. So, yes, I know the difference. SS is far better.
