I was wanting to lower my car and was wondering will all I need to drop it an inch or two is the lowering springs?
That is one of the cheapest ways, but you will regret it down the line.cut the springs if you're cheap.
Like he said here, depends on vehicle. If you replace the springs you will lower the ride height of the vehicle making you need shorter shocks.Depending on the car, springs, and swaybars (clearance)
If you're doing it for performance, you need new shocks, and if you don't replace those now, you'll be replacing them eventually anyways, because your factory ones will quickly wear out with a lower ride height.
