Welp....after the 4 HDCs wrecked havoc in the Explorer...and than the 4 Type Rs did a lil more....i noticed that when i closed my rear hatch it made *BOINGGGG* sound like the glass hatch was bouncing around.

So after a few months of living with that....LAZY.....i went in for a closer look

This is what i found:

Snapped the wholeeeee latch assembly on one corner

Little cutting and few rivots....shes good as new:

I shall destroy it again soon enough.

Yeap. My Type R is a dual 2 ohm with one coil reading 2 ohms and the other reading like 6.9 or something stupid. The coil is also rubbing like crazy. The ***** was loud for the year that it lasted on 4 times it's rated power:laugh:

I don't know what's up with the 18 yet. My 15" R is currently 3 dB louder than the 18. I may need to talk to DJ and see if he has any idea of what's going on.
