Barney Frank, Ron Paul and some dem who's name I forget are trying to push a bill through congress to protect the workers and patient's rights in states with medical cannabis.

And its not like California is in a position to turn away tax revenue created by this industry, they have struggled to balance their budget and will now loose out and millions of dollars. Way to go california!

Right dude. Doesn't make sense. I dont have the exact numbers but I'm pretty sure just marijuana sales ALONE in California earned them close to a billion in taxes so far or something along those lines.

Lets just put it back on the black market again, good idea. More money for the gangsters.

Lol not a billion, maybe 1b since the law was created in the 90s, norml reports a loss in revenues for the state of 150m, which is still a pretty significant amount that can't be replaced easily.

I had roommates who blazed everyday with me and got 4.0s in the pharmacy program which is ranked one of the top in the country.

Drugs might be a catalyst to increase the stupidity or laziness, but if there was a problem to begin with, banning drugs won't put a stop to that.

Not a fan of facebook. Yeah, the number i was referring to is since the first dispensaries became available. Its millions of tax revenue every year.

Yup, some of the smartest people I know smoke daily. Professional people, people who work multiple jobs and are finishing grad school. I also know idiots who smoke and live in the moms basement and play xbox all day, but those people would still do that whether they smoked or not.

I hate fb too, I just unsubscribed from everyones statuses so my newsfeed is all pages that I have liked, mostly norml, bands and car audio. Its so nice not having to see all the dumb shit that people post about.

Thats cool. I could care less if people wanna smoke or not, none of my concern. I have a few good friends that just never liked it, did nothing for them.

It just bugs me a little bit when people who are completely oblivious to what it really is try to tell me whats safe and whats not, and how bad it is.

But really man, Are you really worried about the illegality of it, thats what stopping you? I guess I dont know kentucky laws, but here in MN a speeding ticket is more serious than a possession ticket, anything less than 42.5 grams is treated is a simple traffic violation (pay a fine) and half the time they dont even file it and never charge you.

I been caught so many times I cant even remember, and my record is as clean as a whistle.. they never ****** charge people here for it unless you are selling it or if you are black.

It's better to have safe stores to buy it from than trying to buy it from a drug dealer and have the possibility of getting robbed or having it laced.

People don't "lace", it doesn't make business sense. You are adding something that increases the cost only to sell it for marginally more. It just doesnt make sense. Only the gangsters "lace" because they are getting poopoo mexican brick weed and its so old and moldy and compressed that you have to do something to it to make it sell. When I lived in a city adjacent to Michigan right near the border, that kind of cheap ditch weed just about disappeared overnight after Michigan passed their mm law back in 2008.
