Pay attention to all of the posts above, subs have been recommended....forget the whole 1000 watt sub thing u have going on and focus on quality, not watts. That's how cheap brands sell their products with huge wattage numbers that mean nothing,

No. You really need to give us any info you can...car it will be in, music you listen to, want loud or clean bass, and then you need to determine the price range you are willing to spend on amp, on sub, on head unit, on wiring and then we can give you a better idea on what you need. Nobody will be able to give you a perfect scenario off of "I want a sub that is clean sounding and doesn't break." There are good choices at each level price wise and more than likely whatever your friends are telling you is just a company that they see advertised everywhere. The people here will get you a good system picked out but you are handicapping them with such little info.

got mazda 3 2010... looking to spending no more than 200 on sub.... i kno amps r like 100 - 150 so around there on amp.... listen to rap r and b.. spanish music.... i want a loud bass but also clean i want to be able to hear the music and just boom boom boom boom lol.... not sure what else i can say,
