Looking to design and make first box

First off this will be the first box I have ever made... and I am hoping you guys will help me along the way

Weapons of Choice - 2 15" Fi BL

They will be going in my 94 Chevy Caprice Classic, which has a huge trunk if you dont know what kind of car it is..

My max measurements are 44" across 20" deep and 17" high... thats not the whole trunk I just dont want a box bigger than that if I dont need it to be bigger

I had some help from someone and they suggested 6-8 Cu and 150-200 sq" port

How does this sound?

And what should be my next step?

Your next step should be to determine what tuning you want. Then calculate how much volume you have to work with. After that, need to figure out how long your port needs to be. Once you have figured out all of the displacements, then you can figure out what the final dimensions needs to be.

FYI, you only have 7 cubes gross to work with (42.5 x 18.5 x 15.5)/(12 x 12 x 12 = 1728). You may want to consider a single 18".
