Small port area and low power use

my box is 6.8 before displacement. Sub is Fi Q18. It's in my home theater/audio system hooked on a ma audio amp and 22amp rail psu. I ain't really getting more than an actual 200watt of it, but by looking at it sometime, it def looks like more. Anyway

All i can find around is 4 inch pvc tube for my aeros. There is already hole made from a prior setup, which was sealed later on. Anyway i was thinking about using only 3 4 inch port. I know its ain't a lot, but with the little power i'm sending to it, could it be ok?

I don't want to spend the big bucks on this box, pvc tube are 35$ for like 96 inch long. one at top.

and i don't want to tune too low, cause i'm leaving with my gf family and i don't want to make the whole house shake without me hearing actual bass...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif like it is sealed atm lol

i was thinking about 28hz.maybe a little lower like 25. I didn't like 28hz in my car, but it sounded perfect for my house

Shouldn't be too bad...my home sub is in 10 cubes tuned to like 18hz, and I only use 1 8'' port with no problems

Are you using sonotube? can i buy sonotube at home depot?

at the moment,i'm running 190 watts on a 12 in 2.3 cubes with 30 sq inches of port and surprisingly,it does pretty good lol.i will be upgrading to either a dayton 500 or 1000 w rms plate amp shortly though

No, but its easy to cut. Its cardboard..

I got a 8 inch sono that is 8 **** feet long for a little 10 bucks!

I only need 20inch lol

6.8ft/cu with only 50sq in of port and 200watt. Is that a bad formula?
