looking to build system

I wanted to build a decent system for $500 dollars.

(box, 2 subs, and amp)

I wanted to buy 2 15" subs and between 100-150 dollars each.

Looking for a good spl and sq, mostly something that will have alot of bass.

I wanted to buy a box but not sure what type, will be going in a 93 mazda 626.

And a amp that will be good for the subs.

can someone tell me the best 5 setups that i would be able to afford.

PS. the system i have now is 2 10" pioneer subs is a sealed box powered by a 300w amp so each speaker is getting about 150w. when the max RMS of the speakers is about 450. thanks.

I would go with L7's

I don't know to much about amps.

get a hifonics brutus 1500D for them. you might go a little over budget though

the hifonics brutus 1500D costs too much, i think i want a 4 channel or 2 channel amp, that amp was like $350.

2 HCs from http://www.respl.com if they are still doing that deal you can get 2 15'' or 2 12'' for $300. Those subs will be sure to impress then find an amp for them and build your box.

id go with a single XXX to match that.

If i was to get the BX1500D for $250 dollars. how would it sound getting 1 15" speaker that has about 1000w max RMS. compared to 2 15" speakers that have about 500w max RMS????

I cant afford getting 2 speakers if the watts are over 500 on each.

are you comparing 2 of the same subs? i feel it's better to buy 1 great subs then 2 mediocre subs. i think the hifonics is a good deal. thezeb.com matched it and will sell it for $269.99 and they are authorized so i think i might go ahead and get it and now i'm going way off topic so i will stop now.

would it be better to get 2 500w subs. or get 1 1000w sub.

if i get 2 subs i could spend no more than $300 for 2 of them and a box.

if i get 1 sub i could spend $300 dollars on 1 and a box i was thinking about getting a 15" Kicker L7 Solo baric.
