Looking for sub amp, ~700-1k RMS at 4 ohms

My issue with old amps is trying to find somebody to repair them if/when they die. 5-6+ year old amps have a much better chance of failing within the time period that I might own it than something new due to sheer age alone.
Trust me, if I could stick to old RF amps (200ix's, etc.) I'd be all over the old school equipment. Just want something new and reliable.

I believe db-r can fix just ab anything that is fixable

Yaa, the Orion doens't sound like such a bad deal afterall, especially being a refurb. I've had great luck with refurb equipment, my Cadence Z9000 was a refurb (and GOD do I wish I wouldn't have sold that, it would've been perfect //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif )

This is another I was looking at, right at the tip of my budget, but **** would it be nice to have the extra power on hand when I want to add a 2nd sub, or go to a different setup. Anybody ever used these before, are any of the new SS amps any good?

I have a Sundown 1000D that comes with warranty for sale. It is 245 plus shipping. I only had it for a month or so.
