Good amp at written specs?

while i'm searching the WWW. was going to see what input you guys have.

future setup will be 2 RE SX's 2ohm DVC

looking for an amp that will put out 2000RMS minimum at 13.5-14 volts at 2ohms. i can find plenty of amps at this power but doesnt say at what volts and if it does it could be 14.4 volts on up. anybody know what volt soundstream rates their amps? looking to try them out.

correct me if i am wrong but if i wire the 2 subs to 1 ohm each and then wire them together it will make 2ohms right or is there seperate was to wire them to get say .5 ohms? still learning bash if you want. search feature on the forum ain't great.

you will want to wire them both to 4 ohms to get a final load of 2 ohms if you wire them both to 1 ohm you will get a ohm load of .5... but it sounds like kicker 2500 would be good for you if its in your price range, they are rated at 2 ohms and will put out rated power and then some

^^^glad i know that now. as for price already planning on spending $300 minimum. because its a future, in the summer, set up i have plenty of time to save more $. looking for something out of the ordinary? something good that nobody i know as heard about. basically nothing that BB or CC carries and nothing cheap. true rate power.

because its for a future setup there is no budget. of course i'm not looking to spend 10K. anywere from 0-1000 will be considered. only looking for stated power ratings though.

look at the arc audio ks1000.1 or if you want something a bit better look at the audison lrx1.1

Stetsom 2k5d or 2k6d. Tested 2k5d at 2ohms rising to 5ohms with voltage 12.5v 1900w on one NSB G2700 battery. And only 12" long. Strong little bugger. It's what I run daily.

Let's be honest here. You want the best power for the cheapest price....tell me i'm wrong. 2000wrms minimum with a "up to $1000" price tag. Why do waste our time? Go buy whatever you can for the least amount of money you can....and dont waste OUR time.

Get the 4 Ohm DVC's & wire them in parallel for a 1 Ohm load. It'll be easier/cheaper to find that kind of power @ 1 Ohm.

Most Soundstream amps of today are rated @ 14.4 Older Soundstream are 12.5 The XXX are @ Like 18.0 lol
