hello, ive been trying to upgrade my stereo in my 2007 f150 for a a week or so now....i dontg have a large budget nor do i understand the ohms , rms, watts and sll that. i am very handy with wires and and tools. could someone tell me how to wire 2 kappa 10" subs 1000w, 4 JL 6x9 and 1 600w comp10. i have a rm1100 boss mono block and a power acoustick 2500 5 channle amp. i dont need a three subs but i would like two. Having trouble with the five channel. i read somthing about duel bridging. help please

The kappa speakers are SVC I believe. They will be here tomorrow they have a switch on them that changes 2 and 4 ohm. Running the wires and making everything look nice and professional is my problem. I’m not sure about what terminals to use. I’ve seen some 5 ch amps that have designated terminals for subs. The one I have says nothing about it so I would assume the 5th ch would be for sub. I was trying to get away from the 2amp install. That why I purchased the 2500 5 channel. This is trail and error for me. More error than trail.

I just read the specifications for the 5 channel amp. It will be sufficient for the whole install. Yes, channel 5 is the subwoofer output. Set both subs to 4 ohms and wire positives together. This will give a final resistance of 2ohms. Remember, you only need one set of RCAs (L&R) for signal. If amp has an input selection switch, set it to 2 ch.
The amp will split the signal to 5 channels automatically.
