Looking for some advice

A guy offered to sell me his Hifonics Bx 1606 well im still debating on if I want to put 1 more 10" CVR in my car.

Right now I have 1 and I was thinkin on going 2. Im a straight noob at audio so I was wondering if I can use the BX 1606 for pushing one CVR until I decide if i want more bass or not..

Dont want to buy a amp that powers 400 and then decide I want more bass and then have to buy a whole new amp again

what ohm's is your current CVR?

i'm guessing dual 4....if you answer yes to that question, then yes u can run the 1 sub off the bxi1606d...just watch the gains.

well depending on the price he is selling it to you for. go ahead get it. never will hurt to have more than needed power. in the future you get more sub. u will have the extra power.

I see alot of people are running Hifonics thats why I chose it over Kicker

ya a lot of noobz and budget ppl run hifonics. i might look into finding a better amp on here or some where else that delivers the same power for around the same price but better quality then hifonics.

SO Hifonics wouldnt be a good amp 2 get..

I was lookin into Sundown amps but im not tryin to spend a whole lot because I still have the interior to do...

hifonics isnt a bad brand just people who dont know better talk shit about them. they do rated at 14v. i myself was getting 4200rms out of my 2 amps strapped at a total impedance of 3.1ohms @ 13.5volts. that is 2100rms @ 1.55ohms @ 13.5volts when it is rated 2600@1ohm and 1700@ 2ohm. before you listen to the shit talkers, talk to some people who have actually run them before.

as for the price, they are going for $200 shipped new on ebay

thanks guys im going to see if the guy will take 150 since his is Used and I can get brand new for 200 on ebay like csu87 was saying
