Looking for recommendations for 2016 F-150

yeah he once said if he is pretty enough he will kiss him right on the pecker
That is NOT what I meant when I said "I would kiss her".

Funny all the HOMOPHOBIA spewing here!! Figures though with a bunch of young testosterone charged young males trying to figure out their own sexuality. I figured out my own years ago: 99.44% hetero. ;-)

Homophobia because you can't gracefully accept others' sexuality if it smacks of homosexuality in the least! It scares you.

Aren't you quite the presumptuous one? I didn't see one post that mentioned fear or a lack of acceptance.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/graduate.gif.d982460be9f153bb54e5d4cb744f6ae8.gif

Not looking to add an amp. I am not new to car audio or the forum just haven't been arount for a while. Wondering whats new out there. I could drop in low end pioneers from walmart and they would sound better than what I have.

Infinity Primus PR6500cs 6-1/2" component speaker system — also fits 6-3/4" openings at Crutchfield.com

I have found the infinity and jbl speakers with the lower impedance work very well with factory systems. I have used the infinity primus with systems with stock amps and they worked great with a little sound deadening. and the gto608c with non amplified systems. Sound treatment is a must. you wont believe the difference. with the 600 dollar budget you could get the speakers and sound proofing for way under budget.

Will a descent component set make that much of difference for me to pull out my brand new front 6x8s, and also get rid of the tweeters that I have on order?

Some knowlesge of tuning and install is required too. A powerful amp and A good head unit with time alignment will maximize results as well. Theres a reason most serious vehicles dedicate all their budget, amplifier and processing power to the front rather than having rear speakers that do absolutley nothing other than pull the soundstage behind you ruining the concert experience.

I don't know how to listen...ok. Pretty sure I can tell the difference. You guys act as if everyone has to have a comp worthy system and anything else it *****. Hate fanboys too....if you are not tuning a certain brand speaker, amp, etc...its garbage. No, I don't have tweeters all around now...but thanks for your opinion lol.
So far I am more than happy and, like I mentioned, will be investing in other components to further enhance my inferior upgraded tweeter system.

Your being the new john kuthe. And that's not good. U can't just change your speakers and hope they sound good in stock location and on stock HU power... best thing you could do is get a good HU like $250 and then a small 4ch amp like $100 and a decent comp set like $100-150 and then you new to treat the doors. This is the biggest upgrade you will do. Need to fully deaden the front doors. Other wise if you just change speakers out it's going to sound the same if not worse

multiple people have laid out solutions that will keep original poster under budget. Good comps under 100-140, 4 channel amp (one with an loc) for 150, 80 ml noico liner for 40 (36sq ft) and a decent amp wiring kit (60$ for ofc 4 gauge) brings you right at 500. You could even sneak in a pair of rear door speakers and have plenty of deadener left to accomplish good coverage and still be under $600. It's a bummer the guy never responded after creating the thread. I would ask his apprehension of adding an amp if he's not new to car audio.

First off I am not removing my HU as it has all my climate controls, heated/cooled seats, etc. There is more than one way to skin a cat you know.

After my upgrades it sure doesn't sound worse than stock. I really don't get all you "pros"....some of us just want to have some fun upgrading our system. Seems there are a handful of "pros" that like to circle jerk....hey whatever works lol.
