Im looking for ideas for subwoofers in my 2011 Audi s4
I currently have a JL Audio 1200/1 amp that i will be using and i have 2 Alpine Type R 12s in a sealed box

Im looking for ideas that will give me the best sound and have thought about either changing to 4 10s or still using my alpines.

Are you trying to keep any of your existing equipment, budget?, what’s your existing enclosure ...sealed or ported? 4 10’s is going to consume a considerable amount of trunk. A couple beefier 12’s or the same twelves in the correct box could net some improvement. What don’t you not like now about your setup (not loud enough, not deep enough, etc)

budget? how much room you willing to give up for sub box?
