I honestly don't know how this forum works and if I'm even posting in the right place but I would love some opinions on my system I'm building. I currently have a 1000w jl amp all wired in my car and I'm looking for (2) 12" subwoofers that would go good with it. My goal is to be heard down the road! I like loud sound but I don't want it too dirty I want some clarity but not to much clarity. I want to go with a ported box any ideas on the best speakers for me? Oh and I really don't want "entry level speakers" I want to be able to show people what I have and them not discredit it ! I was thinking on (2) alpine R 12d2 at a final load of 2 ohms. I was also thinking on the newest kicker comp r in the factory box I've read the box is tuned good and it's final ohms are factory wired too two? Open to any suggestions. Again I want it loud but clean enough to where it all doesn't mush together !

Budget: 350 possible 400 if the extra 50 makes the quality go up
