Looking for advice.

I have a few questions related to what kind of amplifier I should get, currently I have:

a cvr12 kicker [10cvr122] DVC 2 ohm 400rms 800 peak

a kenwood kfc-xw1202dvc 300 watt rms, 1200 peak

I was hoping to run both of these in the same box, I was told it should be fine on the amplifier by one person and that I might have to run each on a different amplifier by another.

I currently have a rockford fosgate p3001, and could possibly hook up one of those to each woofer?

just looking for advice, first stereo system I'm investing money into.

First off. You should never run different kinds or size woofers in the same box there may be cancellation problems just figure out which one you want to use. Sell the other get a matching sub and be done

okay then, which should I sell and what would be the optimal amplifier then?

I'm really new to this lol.

Also can anyone explain why they would not sound good if they were using their own air space? I mean aren't they getting like the exact same signal?

Would it be possible in different boxes or just absolute garbage?

The only way should be in separate boxes but there can still be issues with the way it will sound. Like I said figure out which one you wanna keep. Sell the other and get a matching sub then get an amp according to which sub you keep
