nothing is a guarantee in car audio ,it comes from the box and install more than the equipment ,if done right ,you can make 1 sub in the right box and proper electrical to back the amp ,you can be louder than both of those L7 12's
The DCs in the right box, hell any sub in the right box will eat those L5s in a cramped box. I had way better luck getting the 30hz range strong with the new DD subs then I did with DC XLs. Same numbers wise but doing it 10-15hz lower.
It's not a impressive video. I've deadened and braced the hell out of this car. It flexes the hood and rims but its better in person.
DD also like a lot bigger boxes than DC. DD can be ran in a smaller box but every DD sub that blew my away was in a large box. 2 12 95s in 8 cubic feet was a great SPL setup
The new soft parts are more forgiving with airspace. 1.5 per 10 would be nasty. Tune around 32 with 16sq per cube would fit. Subs and port up with it boxed off in the hatch mmmmm. My buddy JT owns street 3 with a simular setup. Ran 10s at first, bumped to 12s and didn't gain much.
Was unaware they changed soft parts that's good news as I secretly want some DD 95s. Did they change parts on all Subs?
Just the 35 and 95. New baskets and soft parts. FS dropped to 30hz if you get the standard suspension.
