Looking for a upgrade!

I have 2 12" kicker L5's on a zx1000.1 and i'm looking to upgrade. This is a daily driver and i'm just looking for some good recommendation because I don't want to upgrade and regret not going louder

BTW: This is going in a 2008 VW Rabbit so space is #1

Anything is better than kickers. DO you want to go SPL or SQ? How much $$$ are you working with. What gauge wire are you running now? Look into Fi, DC, DD, Audioque/Soundqubed. Stay away from Best Buy brands...

Those are the wrong subs for that car. You could get a huge improvement with the right box but you don't have the room unless you lose the back seat

I'm looking to do a complete overhaul with brand new box and new woofers and amp(s) and like to keep it under $1200 total with everything

oh and as loud as possible. ive been looking through dc audio and dd's but just cant decide on a sub amp combo

Go with a pair of 10s. Also I would keep that amp unless you want to replace the alternator. 2 10s in the right box will shock you. Even on your power.

which 10's? cause if i can power them with my amp i can pretty much go with alot of things what would you recommend then?

as long as its louder, plus my main thing right now is going at low at possible any 10's that will shock me with the low notes

level 3 ,and you can add the lvl 4 upgrade to them for a little more power handling

for 1200 i can sell you 2 subs an amp and box ,maybe even the amp kit and big 3 kit to

You're in a bit of a predicament. If you run that amp you need dual 2 subs. If you decide to add power later you're going to need $400-$500 in a larger alternator but also want a 1ohm amp. You could run .5 if you get a 270-300 amp alt and not worry about adding a battery to the back since its already tight. I would do a set of DD 3510s at dual 2 then after you can make the power run a DD M3 at .5 on them. See how far you are from pulse car audio. Those guys know what they are doing.
