Looking for a single 8"

I'm looking to do a single 8", probably ported and tuned low for mainly rap music. Must be able to get somewhat loud as will be in the trunk of a loud 88 rx7 vert. I was thinking sa-8 or ab vfl-8, been a while since I've bought new stuff so what do you guys recommend? Also I haven't chosen an amp yet. Budget is $200 and maybe $200-$300 for an amp. Thanks

yes, I own the X8, in a ported 10L box. It sounds veeeery loud at lows, louder than cheap 15" in a proper box. but from 60+hz, there's no more pressure. It sounds best between 30-40hz.

its depth is to take in mind tho

depends on your 8". take in mind, my X8 is sacrificed in a veeery bad box. in a proper box, it would sound much louder, maybe even twice as loud. but hey, I have a very tiny sportcar, and my trunk is completely available for storage, so I'm very happy with it.
