that little 100w A/B amp might be ok on some door speakers, or a set of tweeters in a 2 way active set up...I hope you did not pay much more than $200 for the 500w sub and 100w (200w bridged mono) amp.

i paid 600 for sub amp box wires and install. I also heard that the prime amps (got my info from the shop) are garbage.

lol...Sounds like you were fed a shit ton of garbage...Pics of the Box? was it a custom ported, or one they had in back lying in wait for the next sucker to walk in the door? The RF I pointed you to was a B-stock Class D amp...but it was cheap. The Prime A/B amps are cheaper RF products, but do rated power...not necessarily junk. If that were the case, then you bought junk too. Had to feed you some line of crap to get you to buy a 50watt x 2ch amp and a 500watt sub, right?

What's your budget on this amp you are looking for?

im planning on dropping up to 250 on and amp. The box, ya, was something i think they had in the back. lol. Ill snap a pic of it tomorrow morning. I guess its good for laughs. Im learning and i guess this is just a speed bump. Is my sub ok? Im still planning on doing my door speakers too prolly the next month.

sub new is like 120, amp new is like 130, box probably like 50, and wiring like 50 so... like 250 for install that is ghetto, better luck next time

600 spent in the classifieds here would have you banging, bro. a sundown/aq/skar/Memphis/etc,etc amp, a beast sub and some used wire plus a killer box design from one of the pros here. Yep...

The sub is ok ,It is capable of running off a clean 400-700watts. Something to work from. Just from what you say, I would advise looking for a box builder.Put the little P200.2 on speaker duty.

Are you limited in space to a single 10" sub, or do you think you might want another, or some bigger in the future? You will want @ 500-700watts rms at 2ohms. Plan on a 1ohm stable amp for future upgrades, (better sub/more subs, etc.) The box you have , is it Ported or sealed?
