I have a 73" Mitsubishi Diamond series and LOVE it.... I also have its 65" brother in the other room. Its not LCD it is a projection but it is only 13" deep (iirc) I will never buy another TV besides Mitsu. Diamonds I have had nothing but great experiance with them. Also for such a big TV it only weighs like 150lbs

Yeah they're cheap too, i think i got my 32 inch at walmart brand new.. for 485.. and i think the 42inch were 900 at the time

I have (2) Toshiba 32" LCD's in my house that have been great. Had them for about a year now.

I didn't buy them from circuit city though. I bought one from amazon and one from tiger direct. I think they ran about 700 each at the time.

if you want an incredible display, get a Samsung with 120hz, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

my rents had a 3 year old vizio 42" plasma go out after VERY minimal usage. My little bros 32" lcd isnt a bad one tho....

Ive got 2 samsung lcd's..a 40" 720p/1080i and 52" 1080p...

I wont ever buy another brand of tv...I had a few dead pixels right in the center of the screen on my 40" after about 2 years..Called Samsung and i literally had a guy at my door 15 minutes later to troubleshoot. A week later he came back and replaced the entire screen. I highly, highly recommend them

Yea, samsung is very high (if not the top) on my list

for plasma's it depends on the size, panny has the smaller and huge ones cornered, i think the pioneer got the top 42-50" one

BTW.. If you're doing this I highly suggest getting a bluray player, and an HD package for your cable.

I have a 1080p TV right now, and it's really ****ing lame, I feel like I wasted a ton of money, since I am watching movies in 480p and don't have cable..

EDIT: Also.. with plasmas, they are expensive, heavy, and old technology.

Yea, im definitely going to be getting bluray and a nice audio setup for it. Im also going to make a nice entertainment center for it once I know what im going for
