My dad just picked up THAT TV for $1083 OTD locally.. Suprised the ish out of me, because he doesnt get into the big TV thing.. Man its sweet!!! I was looking at LCD's (because my family room is really bright and Plasma doesnt do well with a lot of glare) But I decided to hold off a bit til I actually NEED a new TV.. I will suffer with my 32"

damn fine deal if you ask me. I have been wanting a new TV for a while and since I don't have an HD formats, 720p will be fine. I just want something "bigger" and on-wall.

I am considering the 42" version as well. If the price hits the $600 mark, I will probably get it.

Olevia 747i. I just picked one of these up from tigerdirect and I LOVE this tv. Has one of the most advanced processors on the market (does NOT beat the Bravia though). The tv looks like crap for the first hour and then it is glorious.

Sony Bravia if you can afford it.

Speakers can be moved to the side but they no longer make the covers for it. So you are kinda stuck with it under. I have a photo of it hung on the wall if you end up wanting to see. Its also heavy (143lbs)

The day after Thanksgiving. I dunno if it will hit $600. I have been watching these pannys as they seem to be the best bang for the buck.

aaah yes, that day fighting with the insane people!! Havent heard it called black friday.. Prolly have, but guess I never paid attention.... For me, its usually sleep in day and let the women fight it out! Standing in line at BB for 15 hours in hopes of saving a couple hundred never made sense to me, especially since theres no guarantees! But hey! Maybe this year, Ill be diffrent!
