Looking for a flip down touch screen

Hey all,

My Kenwood KDC-BT852HD has been having problems lately with the volume knob. I'm not sure but I think that it is the encoder because when I rotate the knob about 3-5 clicks, it increases the volume level by 1 instead of the 1 click = 1 level increase. Anyway, until anyone tells me different, I am going to assume that this is not something easily fixable, and with that being said I am looking for a new used head unit.

I would like to keep it relatively cheap (sub 200 bucks). I would like bluetooth with an external mic, and aux at a minimum (usb would also be a plus). I don't need gps, but the ability to add a backup camera to it at a later date would be a huge plus. Not real specific on brand, just want something with a better sound quality than the standard new "cheap-o's" with a used price.

Let me know if you have anything, or if you have any suggestions at limping my headunit along any longer.

Thanks,

Kyle

Power Acoustics has some nice flip downs in that price range...
Power Acoustic/Soundstream head units are garbage and I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy.

I tried them since AFAIK they're the only one making a fold down touch screen type. Avoid any product with those two brand names on it at all costs.

Yea I've heard that they aren't great, that's why I'm hoping that someone has a pioneer or other entry level unit for sale.

Thanks for the replies,

Kyle

I don't believe anybody else makes a fold down one. The ONLY in dash DVD player in the 250$ range that's worth trying used to be the Jensen. I have used a few with good results. They don't hold up like the premium brands but they function nicely and you can get old models new for pretty cheap here and there online. They don't make any flip downs though only flip up and double din.

I dont think any name brands have flip downs only flip ups...Thats why I suggested power acoustic...They have a screen that hangs down to overcome dashs that stick out where a flip out wont work
