looking for a 4000 watt amp

well i have a 3 farad cap im guna throw in the subs are 2000 watts each, and i got 4 gauge runnin thru my car i was thinkin about putting 0 gauge in tho but im not complety sure well im thinking cuz the subs cost me about 1500 about 1000 for an amp, and a new battery is a must cuz mine is shit lol but i just want an amp that is decently cheap and will actually put out about 4000 watts, not just say it does on the box
4kw will take a new alt (200+ amps), 0 gauge throughout, and 2-3 strong Car audio batteries. A cap and 4 gauge will last you maybe an hour.

i've got 400 invested in my alt, 400 in my batteries (and i got an AMAZING deal on those that you aren't likely to find again... comparable batteries run 2-300 each) 300 in wire, over 100 in fuseholders, and 20 or 30 bucks in ring terminals.

why in the world would you even consider trying to run 4kw rms if you make 400 a month? i make that in a couple of days, and i think the 4000 dollars or so i have invested in my stereo is excessive. you're talking about half a years pay for your stereo. you can always halfass it, stick with your cap and 4 gauge and smoke the amp the first time you turn it up, but i prefer having a stereo i can beat the hell out of everyday and it'll keep on jamming.

if i were you i'd sell the xxxs and buy more efficient subs that will get down on 500 watts each or something and pick up an efficient 1k amp, but thats just me.

then get ready to unass a lot more of your money than you want to, either in electrical upgrades, or replacing the amp you blow up, then electrical upgrades so it doesnt happen again.

My crossfire vr4000d would be the best option for you....4000-4800 @ 2 ohms....powerhouse and clean

I got 300 in my alt, 550 in batteries, and then maybe 225 in 1/0 wire and and buss bars

more then your elecrtical system could support. Any of these high power /current amps are NOT going to fair well of your 4 gauge / stock electrical.

The amps will A. kick into protection, B. burn up.

It cost money to play.

So what electrical do I have to upgrade besides the obvious ground and power runnin to my trunk? And I too would rather not have my amp blow and buy a new one that's y I'm here to learn can I do the wiring myself or would it be best to let a shop do that?
