Jesus christ. You even TRY running an amp on that, that puts out 4k watts, and you'll fry it so fast.

You need a new alternator, and at least 3 batteries. Good ones. Way more than 4 gauge wires, too. Even 0 gauge, you'd want two runs at least. You're looking at $800 in electrical upgrades likely.

Pretty much to run any amp that will put out a "real" 4kw, will need a 200+ amp HO alt, good batt under hood(ex. Kinetik 1400) and a least one big batt in back(kinetik 2400, XS 3100, C&D, etc).

With stock electrical, 4ga wiring, and a cap a true 4kw amp may even go into protect just when at idle and not even turning it up. A single song will cause you to see the magic smoke immediately.

Well if I knew everything I wouldn't be asking for help on a forum now would I? I'm here to find a good amp that will pound my subs it doesn't really matter to me how much I make or how little I know and I don't believe I am as stupid as you think your probly what 35 40 ish? U have been doing this stuff a long time I'm only 18 I'm a beginer I'm obviously not going to be able to write a book on this

4kw rms, you need 200+amp alt, biggest bat you can fit under the hood and 2-31 series something. Your alt is at least 300, your batts will be at least 300 and the 1/0 to wire everything will be at least 100, you have 700 in electrical upgrades and that doesn't include the small stuff you don't think about, fuse holders, big 3, terminals etc etc. If you spend less than 700 in electrical upgrades and manage to run 4k watts, itll be a miracle.

My crossfire vr4000d would be the best option for you....4000-4800 @ 2 ohms....powerhouse and clean
I got 300 in my alt, 550 in batteries, and then maybe 225 in 1/0 wire and and buss bars

thats nice, what about a HO alt? what about the battery under the hood and the 2 in the back your going to need, what about the fuse holders, 1/0 is nice, but if you can't push the current its pointless go back to 1k watts and keep your 4g

i have already considered 3 new batts, and a new alt pushin at least 200 , already considered fuse holders, terminals, big3 im thinkin at least 500 in batts, another 400 for an alt, 200 for wiring, 100 for terminals and fuse holder, right now my 4g is pushin 2500 watts great with stock bat and alt but eitherway the bat and alt need to be upgraded cuz my car is 03.
