Let him screw up his design, and then come back crying, and then ignore his ***.

People who don't wanna learn, won't learn anything. its not worth forcing it down their throats, as they'll just puke it back up onto you.

The first guys were right, pick a 10 or 12, or cheat and stuff the hell out of that 1.8 cubes and hope to hell you get the 40% increase stuffing CAN bring you. your box is too small. but some tricks can be had to help.

P.S

The only time its acceptable to put a subwoofer in a smaller box than intended is for SPL purposes, as you can create a peaky box. if you don't have active eq, which 99% of cars don't, then you will only be making a fart cannon.
