Looking for a 1 ohm stable amp

Ok, well i was just going to do the first bit anyway, im not interested in series wiring. Why cant it be 2 ohms?

The BXi2006D posted would be a great choice. Lots of overhead, so you wouldn't be stressing the amp.

As far as the SoundStream, no, I wouldn't recommend it. They were rock solid amps back in the day, but I question them now.

 
Today i went into an audio specialty store, and they told me i would only need a 500rms amp to power both subs, is that right?
Ummmmmm, no. You'll want at the very least 1000w rms so each sub gets 500w. Try to get an amp in the 1200-1600w rms range if you can.

 
Yeah tahts what i thought, but the guy seemed to think that each sub will get 500rms, i walked out in the middle of it cause he couldnt see that i was right. Idiot. Anyways, im hoping for something around 1200, but i might just be using one now. Thanks for all your help guys
