I am looking for sound quality. I wont be going to competitions with my setup, it is just for personal use.

Looking for something that will hit pricise and hard. I dont want anything that is incredibly loud and annoying.

Like a good Bose system but up the bass 3 times.....

With that being said, will the JL Audio 8W3v2-D4 subs, powered by an Alpine PDX-2.150 suit my needs???

is the RL-i 8 too deep for your install?

 

check, and if not talk to flakko for a good price on a US Amp Xterminator amplfier to go with the RL-i 8, a few people have run that combo with success

yes it is the RL-i8 is 5.65 mounting depth

the box is 5.5

the rl-i8 is too deep; but the rl-i10 is not

I will buy a Stereo INtegrity sub over an eD sub everyday. SI does not make 8" subs, if you want to stay with an 8 the SoundSplinter Rl-i 8 is my favorite,  

but another 10 worth a look is the Fi SSD 10-

Does the Stereo Integrity put off good SQ? because it looks like a straight Overhung SPL woofer. Where the hell is the cone?

Rli-8 is too deep, Fi-SSD 10 is way too deep.

You might be able to fit a Fi-X though...I'm thinking about going with them myself...
