Looking at these 8 inch subs

I need some 8 inch subs for this box:

These are the ones I'm debating between:

JL Audio 8W3v2-D4

Or would I be better off with a shallow depth 10"

Thoughts ?? or Opinion??

that box says 5 and 5/8" and SI BM 10s are 5 1/2" depth, so you have an 1/8 to spare

Even the depth of the box is 5.5 don't you want to have some space for the VC vent? I was under the impression that an inch or two for "breathing" room would be a good idea.

I just picked up several 9kv.2 subs for my crew but since I have not yet heard them, I cannot endorse. Yet...

I have two Ascendant Audio Assassin 8"s, everything finally came today. Now, I just have to finish running the cable (waiting on dad) and build my box(es). Woo, can't wait!

I will buy a Stereo INtegrity sub over an eD sub everyday. SI does not make 8" subs, if you want to stay with an 8 the SoundSplinter Rl-i 8 is my favorite,

 

but another 10 worth a look is the Fi SSD 10-
