Looking at options. Opinions very welcome

This is honestly the first time I have ever related reading this forum, to watching the gold channel.
there ya go!! My first contribution to this place HAHA

I was BAD into golf and equipment. Tour only crap too. Wish i still had a set or two that i dumped. I actually was in the running for the "club ho of the year" award, which of course gets you diddly squat but hey it was fun while it lasted. Had a group I played with all the time in NJ when I lived there; called "The NUTZ" because we would play anytime anywhere. Strange too, now that i live in Vegas, the weather is better and I dont care if i play or not half the time but when I was in NJ, i could not wait to play. How life changes.

I use to play 4-5 times a week when I was younger. But Ive only played.... uhm... 3 times now in the past 7 or 8 years. Still love the game, love it... but I just dont make it out to the courses anymore. I'll get back into it some day.

I know the subject has changed but I am still gonna throw in to look at the rl-p for your sub. You would want to give it at least 600 rms though so might not be an option but it will sound good in a small sealed enclosure. My vote goes for the focals for best SQ speakers as well so spend big on those if you are truely looking for great SQ.

ok, so i did a quick amazon build.

What do you think? Fire away, honest opinions please. If you think it *****, say it ***** but tell me what you think is better and why?

I didnt include wiring because i dont know what i need? Any help with that would be great!

Thanks

Honestly, I'd get everything from the for sale forum here. You can buy 25sq feet of audio technix peel and seal, better than dynamate for around the same price. Drop the 6x8's completely and get a set of Rainbow SLX's comps for a little more than those X's. MOST IMPORTANT THING, BUILD YOUR OWN BOX TO THE SUB!!!! Don't buy a prefab. I'd also get a sub from here too. If you get that PDX, which is pretty good, bridge the 4 channels to 2 for the Rainbows.

edit: For wiring you will need

~17' of 4ga for power, 3-5' for ground

RCA's for each channel, 3 if you bridge and drop the rear 6x8, 5 if you keep them

150amp fuse and holder, ring terminal for attaching to battery

~17ga 18ga remote wire

2 runs of 14-16ga speaker wire to run from the amp to the xovers for the comp speakers, then from the xovers to the mid and tweeter

another 2 run from the amp to the 6x8's if you use them
