Looking at a new sub

Greetings,

I currently have a JL Audio WXv2 12" sub. Looking to upgrade as not completely happy with it.

So far two subs caught my eye and/or where recommended.

JL Audio W3v3

and

Memphis M Class 12" DVC (Wired to 2 ohms).

My question is since I am not familiar with Memphis is it really worth to upgrade to a Memphis M Class sub? The two are similar in price. I want hard hitting bass, and decent SQ for a good price. I will match amp once I decide on the sub.

Any other recommends?

The W3 is a good sub depending on the cost. Anywhere near MSRP it's not worth it.
