2 channel amp for a Alpine SWR-12D4

I have pretty much zero knowledge on car audio and don't want to mess up my sub or amp and i wanted to know how i could run a dual coil alpine type R sub off of an old school 2 channel power logic 460 watt amp its 4 ohm , i wanted to bridge it to get more power out of the amp . if anyone could explain to me the best way to wire this amp ?

i realize this amp is no where near enough power for my sub but its only temporary

With that amp you can only either bridge the amp sub wired to 8 ohms. Or you can use 1 channel and wire the sub at 2 ohms. Depending on the amps power you could bridge it and only use 1 voicecoil of the sub. That's kind of considered taboo on this forum but can be done

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...
