logitech Z5500 in a car.

Hi, Im new here. from Sweden

So I decided to put my z5500 in my car.

Volt Changer:

150W, 300W or 1000 W? the 150 and 300 W have the same price.

z5500 specs

Will it work? Any tips or comments are really appreciated.

unless you have a digital sound processor in the car you won't get 5.1 surround sound. even if you did it would probably be a waste of time. use home speakers at home, not in the car.

wow.... no doubt back in my old truck for a "little while" i had my room stereo in my truck bumpin but thats just because i had no head unit as soon as i got one i took it out of there

More than 8 people have written that Its not a good idea to do this. and putting a Computer Speakers is the "worst" idea ever. But nobody actually said why?

"Home speakers should be at home and car speakers should be in a car" that´s not an argument. Please can sombady give me a single good reason why that´s not good?

I always thought the reason not to do this was due to the potential noise issues caused by stepping up 12 volts DC to 110/220 volts AC and then connecting a 12 volt DC source to it.... Prepare to trouble shoot noise problems out the wazoo if you decide to do this!

Can it work? Sure. Has it been done before? Yep. Will you get any sympathy from the ca.com collective for doing this? Nope...

you will be able to make your car so much louder if you get the right equipment and put it in your car trust me and it will sound a lot better too
