locked my keys in my car!

yea today i was a dumbass and locked my keys in my car.. its a 93 toyota 4runner. I dont want the locksmith to open it in 5 min and charge me $75, so does anyone have any ideas on how to open it other than using a clothes hanger and going through the window-which isnt working right now..

You could try to use a thin slice of something to jam open the rubber gasket, and force a "Slim Jim" down to the door latch...which is what a locksmith would do anyway...

Slim Jims are a bitch to use, very tricky to get the door unlocked if you havent done it before...

if it was a ford. just pry the door back a little bit and stick something in and hit unlock...thats what the ford guys did on my car. and thats what i did after i locked them in the car before too.

I have never locked the keys in the cabin, but I have shut the trunk on them and I have no trunk release other than my remote or using a key...

no u simply press down the lock, unless your special and got the remote u get out and press the button i wish i had that shit

It has to be closed to lock the car.

Almost any toyota key might work. I know lots of people that have 4 runners/corolla's, toyota pickups/camry's even, and half the time a key from a completely different car will work. It kinda sucks because makes them easier to steal. Worth a shot.

Extra keys- and a slim jim is actually easy to use, it just doesn't work on most cars nowadays.

Ive locked the keyz in my car a total of 3 times. Never a-****in-gain. I have 8 copies made of every car I own.
