LMS 5400 Car Review

As modeled in LEAP. There will be a ~7dB swing in SPL in a 3.5 cubic foot ported at 32Hz vs. 3.5 cubic feet sealed around the 40Hz area where a lot of the bass is perceived.

Obviously higher tuning like 32Hz leads to louder bass where its more audible with peaks between 30 and 40hz. The 5400 will behave like any driver in a box as such. It will shin in about 5-7 cubic feet ported around 20Hz. It will have a tremendous amount of displacement ability down low which makes it great for LLT home theater.

Its not small either, so don't expect to slip it behind any seats.

Thanks for the words dalucifer!

is the 5200 and all out spl woofer and the 5400 is the sql ?
Not really.. The 5200 is an SQL driver that is very capable in spl applications..The 5400 is really meant for HT, but can be used in car audio with enough room and power.. Both are great for low end. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
