TC-1000 8" vs. Rli8?

holy crap the TC1K's 8's are on sale for $120 shipped!!

i'm just curious how much different are they? i know the rli is based on the TC1K but the specs seem to differ just a tad...

for example, the rli8 has almost a 3 db advantage in the Spl spec, everything else seems to be very similar...

i hear that the Spl spec should be taken with a grain of salt but almost a 3db difference has gotten me curious...rli is 84.1 vs 81.6...

any comforting suggestions?

OT: f#cking TC-500 12 is only $95 shipped, pretty insane!!! for some reason this tc1K 8 for $120 is still more irresistable though

tc1k = $120 shipped, have dual 4s, ~60sq/40spl, very clean/sexy looking, 135oz slugs, can take up to 800 on music or so said, can get pretty loud

rli8 = $165 shipped, ~tc1k but more expensive

dd1508 = ~$150 shipped, single 4s only, ~40sq/60spl, very tough looking, 80oz slugs, shown to take up to 800-900 on music and capable of 140's+ with 2 or so

sd208 = $110 shipped, ~dd1508 but cheaper

very tough choices between the tc1k and sd208

that lousiana fella said he did a 150 with 4 of them, but i think that was with a truck, and i'm sure its quite different if you have a trunk car...theres another fella that did a 138 on 2 1008's with only 400rms to each or something like that...pretty sick stuff...

yeah this sale is pretty sick...i'm sorta leanin towards it cus i'm sure in the future, i could probably get $100 back for it if i resell it...i'll just eat the shipping charges but thats still not too bad...
