I am going to put some form of deadening on my car this summer..Im just wondering which is better...liquid or mat form? which is cheaper? im guessing mat's cheaper but yeah..my bro has some Dynamat Extreme I can use but the eD v3 looks easier to "install"...

any comments are appreciated //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

o yea..car is 1995 300ZX

I like mat, but I have a very small or limited experience with the liquid. Each to me have their pros and cons, the liquid will mold to the part you are deadening, the mat will to. Liquid cant cover holes. mat can. aww hell nevermind....

how the hell do you use the liquid?

is it thin like paint?

or is the consistency more like that of a paste or gel , and will stick well/not drip.

I visualize liquid.... and think house paint - I imagine that'd be a hella pain in the as$

anyone have any prices?

and answering bd5034...i think you just kidna paint it on..? im not 100% sure but from the pics/tutorials ive seen thats how it was done but im not sure so hopefully someone will clear it up for ya

Ok, I am getting ready to deaden my inner door skins. Already did the outer door skins with SS Spectrum. I have about a gallon of Spectrum left to work with, and not much mat, but enough mat to cover all the holes in the inner door skin.

I'd like to use what I have effectively instead of buying more mat. Anyone getting good results with liquid deadener on the inner door skin?
