Line Output Converter Question

I have an 08 scion tc. The stock HU does what I need it to do for now, but I'm adding an amp/sub to the mix. I already plan on using a line output converter, but my question is this... if I use one of these, will I have to disconnect my back speakers, or can I just t-tap into the line. I don't want to overload the circuit. If I have to disconnect them, I guess I could live with that. Thanks for your help!

you should be fine tapping in on the line...

yep tap in to your rear speakers. its fine.
