Line driver or no?

Well I've done some research and came up with a line driver puts out 7.5v preamp. My EQ puts out 4v Preamp would it be worth it to put a line driver in or no? What other advantages does a line driver have?

What is the range of your amps input section? Can it handle 7.5 volts or is only set on a .2 - 4 V scale?

i dont see why 4 volts isnt plenty

Just kinda want the best out of my system. Would I hear a great audible difference?

The input section is controled by the gain on the amp. Does the gain have any type of scale written on it. If it does please list it
