limiting my sub?

would i be limiting te performance of a RE Audio HC12 in a sealed box thats roughly 1.3 ft3? right now its a a 3.2 ft3 ported box @ 32hz. it would be running off a BX1500D. so its either a ported box that is too big for my trunk or a sealed box that fits in my trunk.

I have a pair sharing 3.6, and they need a bit more space. Do you happen to know what RE recommended for the HC 12"?
