LIL math problem....

ok after all that .. Someone could of just said .. Hey man, dynomat is double the price of SS and the same quality .. But nooo , gotta make me look like a douche:)

i gotcha but ^2 = feet (squared )
You do realize that any measurement can be squared, don't you? Square inches, square feet, square centimeters, square acres, etc? Therefore, the simple label of "^2" tells us nothing in and of itself, other than you are squaring *something*.

I realize that but how many ppl would actually say .. " oh, hey your paying 270 bux for 36^2 i(inches) of dyno extreme... My bad i thought it was common sense this thread got outta hand quick so lock it:rolleyes:

My bad i thought it was common sense
Public school systems must be a failure.

Common sense is to properly label your measurements. When did this become non-standard behavior?

You're an idiot a majority of the time, so we have no idea what exactly you are thinking. In which case, it's never safe to assume anything......

How am i an idiot?? What have i said that was so out there that "common sense" could not figure out ?? I help more ppl in here than you must think. So maybe you have me mixed up with someone else

I just meant...
The 18x32 was in inches. And the 80^2 wasn't labeled, and the 36^2 had no label. It was easy enough to figure out it was in square feet because of the price, but at first I thought they were all in inches because the first one was labeled in inches.

It was just a suggestion for the future.
they are called units not labels for best clarity

I also was confused as fuck after reading the first post. I didn't realize I should know 80^2 = 80 square feet. My school taught me that that meant 6400, maybe my school made that up or something. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Ok im having a huge brain fart here trying to figure out ^2 of dynomat... Since they dont tell the ^2 like SS...
Dyno (9) 18"x32" pieces for $270.

SS damp pro 80^2 for $279.

Yup this shouldnt be to hard but it is...

I'm getting 36 ^2 of dyno for the same as SS is this right?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
if my math is correct 18"x32" is 4 square feet.. and if youre saying ss damp pro is the same price for 80 square feet , then dynomat is a fucing rip-off. but if my math is incorrect, eat me beeyotch.

6400ft^2 for 279 dollars? Dayum hook it up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

SS damp pro 80^2 for $279.

36 ^2 of dyno for the same as SS is this right?

--Dyno--

9 * (18/12) * (32/12) = 36 ft^2

$270 / 36 ft^2 = $7.50 per ft^2

compared to

--SS--

$279 / 80 ft^2 = $3.49 per ft^2

You would be paying a little over twice the price by using Dyno.

It's pretty obvious even without "math"... 80 square feet for $279, and for about ten dollars less you only get 36 square feet?
