Lifting car?

Yea, even I am a huge fan of big rims, but new bodies that are lifted I typically hate. There is virtually no difference between 35 and 30 profile tires in ride quality. So go with those tires. Pot holes are very scarce in FLA as well and as long as your careful you can still ride over them just fine. People talk down on these tires like o they will blow easily and all this...they are good tires....otherwise they wouldn't of been approved. (Yes tires are tested and must be approved before going into production).
LOL maybe in st pete they are scarce, but dont go driving in orlando. them ****ers are everywhere in orlando.

Saywhat: Like I said, have you ever personally ridin on these rims? Don't talk unless you know first hand.

EDIT: Haven't really been in heart of Orlando but the Universal Area seems very smooth. Anyways, if you will blow a 30 series on a pothole, you will blow the 35 just as easily.

wtf? he asked about raising his car and this thread turned into a ***** fest

and only SOME 4x4's look good. that being said............full out show trucks only should be lifted. rock crawlers and shit as well. I cant see the point AT ALL to raise a daily.
Ability to fit larger tires, more ground clearance...I agree with you that huge lifts are very inpractical and unsafe, but a 3-4" lift could come in handy on some vehicles without changing the CG too much.

True, but I don't see lifting a big body up 4" to be handy. Cool that it feels like getting into a truck though. Not having to squat into a little honda or something. But thats about as handy as it gets for cars. For driving pruposes. For me anyway.

yes, i have a guy in my area that has 24"s on 1970 Chevelle, man its so freakin' high in the air and that car was a classic now just a freakin' mind blower. People are like what the F_ck, poor car.
yeah, but you do live in kentucky, yee-haw. totally different story in south florida

i say forget what evrybody else says and get what you want to. Its your car not theirs. Also for people saying lifting cars look dumb, the people with lifting cars say slammed trucks look retarted, theres no convincing the other to change their mind. And the most important thing i have to say is in south florida or atleast the part where i mostly hang around 20's are a no-no. A girl can get away with it, but you will be clowned on as i was...which is why i sold the 20" pasha's and now saving for 22" or 24" starr 769' or m907's.
