Lexus SC400 install (Morel, Scan Speak, Mag's)

I started working on the floor this weekend. I did very little work though since it was Easter weekend. I'll post up pics of the base of the false floor later on today or some time this week.

Did you ever think about doing a 4th order through the factory subwoofer hole in the middle, or was there not enough room?...

The gas tank is directly under that center opening. And like I said in the thread, that speaker area is now one solid giant opening. I cut all of the sheet metal out of the rear deck. Oh crap I didn't notice you say that the rear deck is one solid giant opening, thats a good way to do it. I notuiced from one of the pics it kinds looked like the gas tank would get in the way if you were to try a 4th order. Have you posted this build log on clublexus.com? They would really like it over there.

I had it on Club Lexus but they banned me because I wouldn't pay them just for the privilage to post. So now I'll continue the build pics on our own forum, DIYMA, here, Lexus Owners Club, and Lextreme.

This is a real nice build. I've loved the SC4's for as long as I can remember. This is some really clean work. I too was on CL for a while and didn't like t that much. You doing any kind I exhaust work to that? The 1UZ's sound real nice opened up

It's got the resonators removed on it so it goes directly from the cats to the X-pipe to the mufflers. It sounds really nice - not too loud, but louder than stock. That's all that's going to be done on it though because I want this car to last forever. in the package trey(each to the sides of the hump in the middle of our gas tanks)and i put these in the doors for now

eventually ..i also tried to keep the stock HU and cd changer..i couldnt figure out how to wire my line out with the factory wires in the trunk so i had a buddy do it but we just couldnt get it to stop whining so im gonna order a pioneer fh-p8000bt DD soon.im also gonna start hacking on the package trey soon
