Let me help you guys not repeat my mistake

Well true... But how good can the PQ on a 23 year old TV be anyway...
But, if yo don't care about PQ enjoy that bastard for as long as it runs.

Is it a console TV? Because it almost HAS to be a console TV if it is that old...
Head over to Audiokarma.org and check out some of the TV's people there are running...I'm not that insane //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

23 years is definitely getting the use out of it, I agree. Mine's new compared to that at four years //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The only carrier here is alltel. Alltel stores everywhere. They all compete against eachother. Everyone here has an alltel phone. This feels strangely like north korea.
LOL... You should... Around where I live it is Verizon, Sprint, or AT&T. And I have carried all 3 at one point or another. And Sprint is the most reliable and fastest, then Verizon, then AT&T... From my experience... I raced a kid with an iPhone the other day on my Mogul. PWNED him hard. Especially at sending emails...

Just do you know what I mean when I say a Console TV?

Direct ....its about 7-8 doors west of CAC. It used to be Bobick's Golf...now its a AT&T retail outlet
Got ya... I knew CAC moved and I know where the Bobick's is...

I haven't really been to Lima in a while. Except to St Rita's (know a guy who works there) and Minards for MDF...

I know waht you mean by console, a TV that looks like a piece of furniture, lol.

Actually, it's a 19" "table top" TV. The PC is not bad. I mean it has nowhere near the PC of today's TV's, but it never did. Keep in mind this is just in a guest bedroom now, but it has plenty of hours on it.

Thread is kinda OT now but I just saw it and have the same model DLP you have except the model before I think (720) with the card reader (most worthless feature on the TV IMO never worked right)

But my bulb went out at 1200 hours and the guy said it should have lasted 3000. Showed me how to take the side vent thing off and clean the filter and said it may help but they are notorious for blowing too quickly.

I bought a 2 year extended where they come to the house and fix it for you free and replace bulbs (with no limit as some do) after talking to him I upgraded to the 5 year! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I love the TV just I am not looking forward to being 2-3 weeks without a TV every year until it's demise.

That reminds me of the "gimmick" slogan one company, had "the most expensive TV in America, but darn well worth it. The name of the company escapes me, but they bragged about having the longets warranty.

All they were doing was building the price of an extended warranty into the price of the tv.

i seriously love this tv when i works. They downgraded all the warranties to just the first bulb replacement. After that you are on your own when it comes to bulbs
